Deadstock Stripe Skirt

This slightly shorter version of the Big Pocket Skirt is made from a crisp technical fabric designed by Paul Smith — deadstock, and too good to pass up.

I usually work with natural fibres, but now and then a manmade fabric earns its place, when no other, natural fabric can achieve the same effect.

This one holds its shape beautifully and brings the rainbow stripes to life. I love the slight sheen of the fabric that accentuates its structure. The overal effect is still casual, especially if worn with trainers. It would look good with some nice boots and a wooly jumer in any of the colours of the stripes.
